NEW TREND: Site owners loading small pistols

When I began my project, I was gunho about where I would take it. I have noticed that many people out there are more interested in making an income with the site. They have goals of income, they get all excited everytime an 'advertisement' is clicked. My goal started big. Unrealistic? Hell yeah! But I wanted to become a second resource to Craigslist. And with every day and every new user and every new posting on my site, we are getting closer to that goal. (A LONG TIME AWAY, BUT INCHING OUR WAY THERE).

Too many people suggest SEO this & SEO that, but this means NOTHING if you have no traffic going to your site. And with classifieds being sooooo saturated, google will pay no mind to your site without existing traffic.

I have been handing out cards, flyers, shirts, stickers and been on forums, Craigslist and more. We are averaging about 910 visiters to my site per day, which is a HUGE feat in just 6 months. We started June 1, 2009. And our page views are increasing substantially, which means people are remaining on our site much longer...which is WAY more important than visitors. Keeping them ON your site means you are doing something right.
